Pomeroy is hiring an IT repair technician to work in our Riverside, CA location!

In this position, you will be performing basic inspection, testing, upgrades and repairs of Point of Sale "Devices" that include, but are not limited to, Scanners, desktop PCs, laptop, printers and peripherals.

The ideal candidate for this position will have strong familiarity with standard Point of Sale IT equipment (laptop/desktop computers, printers, etc), degree in IT field and/or CompTIA A+ Certification a plus!

Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Minimum High school diploma or equivalent. College degree in an IT field of study a plus
• CompTIA A+ certification a plus
• 1-2 years of experience preferable
• Positive attitude
• Ability to juggle shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong familiarity with standard Point of Sale IT equipment including scanners, touchscreens, pc's, laptops, print devices, servers, storage, mobile and networking devices.
• Previous Point-of-Sale (POS) experience would be beneficial
• Strong familiarity with standard image deployment tools and image deployment methodologies
• Excellent communication skills required, both written and oral
• Strong MS Office knowledge, skills, and abilities
• Strong customer service skills
• Oracle EBS knowledge a plus
• Ability to stand for the majority of an 8-hour work shift
