Job description
My ABA Family hires Registered Behavior Technicians to provide home based Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) services to children with autism and other related developmental disorders in the Greater Orlando area. New hires will work with a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or a Board-Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA).
RBT’s Responsibilities and Duties:
- Provides a direct implementation of services as described in the Individual Behavior Analysis Services Plan (BASP) created by and under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Provides direct one-on-one behavioral interventions to teach communication, social, and daily living skills and reduce problem behaviors in the home, community, and school settings, following the treatment plan goals and interventions.
- Provides a direct implementation of replacement/skills acquisition programs according to the BASP.
- Implements Preventive and Reactive Strategies as described in the BASP.
- Assists with individualized assessment procedures.
- Delivers reinforcement in the natural environment and uses various reinforcers.
- Accurately collects data (maladaptive behavior- Replacements/acquisition skill programs).
- Timely submission of written reports. (Datasheets, notes, others.)
- Maintains professional, courteous interactions and appropriate communication with Client, supervisors, and Caregivers.
- Actively seeks clinical direction from supervisor. Responds appropriately to supervisor feedback and maintains or improves performance accordingly.
- RBT complies with applicable, legal, regulatory, workplace data collection, storage, transportation, and documentation requirements.
- Collaborates with family and treatment team members to provide treatment effectively.
- Communicates confidentially and professionally with behavior analysts, teachers, parents, and educators.
- Attends ongoing training and professional development.
- Strictly follows the RBT Ethics Code.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Registered Behavior Technician Certification.
- Must have a High School Diploma.
