Exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced medical team within a growing federally qualified community health center. HealthFirst Family Care Center, Inc. “The Heart of Our Community” provides comprehensive services including adult/pediatric medical care, health education, health assessment and screenings, gynecology, cardiology, behavioral health, substance use treatment, and adult/pediatric dental care. We are currently seeking a motivated, Part Time (20 hours per week) Registered Dental Hygienist that enjoys working with culturally diverse children and families in providing comprehensive patient care.

Registered Dental Hygienist Summary

Under the direct supervision of the Chief Dental Officer, the Dental Hygienist will provide oral healthcare to our dental patients as per the dentist’s instructions. The healthcare will consist of cleaning, scaling, polishing teeth, taking/processing X-rays and teaching oral hygiene.

Schedule

Wed & Fri 8:00 am – 6:00 pm

Required Qualifications

1. Completion of Dental Hygienist program at an accredited institution.

2. Minimum of 3 years’ experience working as a Dental Hygienist required.

3. License to practice as a Registered Dental Hygienist from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts required.

4. Maintain current certification in CPR at the healthcare provider level required.

5. Experience and ability to perform all phases of hygiene and clinical management required.

6. Must submit a CORI release form and demonstrate proof of being free from disqualifying information required

7. Ability to handle young patients, handicapped patients and medically comprised patients required.

8. Ability to handle confidential information in a professional manner required.

9. Experience with Dentrix preferred.

10. Bi-lingual/tri-lingual skills preferred.

8. Detail-oriented and accurate.
