Job Duties
This role will oversee the clinical dietetics program, ensuring a complete nutritional care program is implemented for all patients in accordance with hospital policies and procedures, state and federal regulations, the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, as well as CMS/Medicare/Medicaid and JCAHO standards.
In this role, the ability to work collaboratively with a variety of health care professionals will be essential; the dietitian will work closely with the Allied Health team which consists of an SLP, OT’s, and PT’s, and with food service personnel.
Minimum Qualifications
Registration as a dietician by the Commission on Dietetic Registration
Graduation, B.S. Degree in Nutrition from a 4-year accredited college or university with major course works in nutrition
Experience as a clinical dietitian in an acute hospital, psychiatric or long-term care facility
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Electronic Health Records preferred is preferred
