We are currently seeking a Full Time Registered Dietitian for our adult eating disorder partial hospitalization & Intensive Outpatient program at our San Jose, California location.

The dietitian must have the ability to work in difficult client's situation to oversee the nutritional rehabilitation of clients. Dietitians must be able to supervise meal groups and possess knowledge of appropriate nutrition for clients struggling with eating disorders. They must have the ability to work as part of a treatment team and possess knowledge of mental health issues that relate to eating disorders. The candidate must be organized, detail-orientated, and able to set firm boundaries with clients.

This is a Full-Time position. Monday through Friday with flexible scheduling

Requirements:

• Registered Dietitian with the American Association in the State of California
• B.S. in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field
• 1-year experience providing nutritional counseling to clients with eating disorders in an outpatient or inpatient setting preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct initial nutritional intakes and nutritional orientation for new clients
• Conduct weekly individual nutritional counseling sessions with clients in the program.
• Conduct supervised meal groups, ensuring that clients complete their required meal and providing meal/nutritional support.
• Conduct weekly nutritional education group.
• Attend weekly staff meetings and collaborate with staff about client care.
• Create client meal plans and monitor nutritional intake.
