Description: Willis-Knighton Bossier is seeking an RN for our 10 bed ICU unit, which is both medical and surgical. The typical diagnosis includes: respiratory failure, sepsis, multi-system organ failure, renal failure, and post-op surgeries just to name a few. The job responsibilities include but not limited to: frequent hemodynamic monitoring, titration of vasopressors or vasodilators, maintaining ventilators, and maintaining invasive lines. The patient to nurse ratio is typically 2:1 and teamwork is highly encouraged. This shift works a 5/2 schedule which is typically better for night shift workers, however, a traditional schedule can be done also. ACLS is preferred and is available at our Training and Development Center at no cost to employees. A hospital wide orientation is required upon hire and orientation will be provided with a preceptor according to your experience. Apply here and come join our exciting team.
