Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Room
Location: New York, NY (USA)
Salary: $3780/Wk
Stipend: $2359/wk
Shift Schedule: Days - 36hrs/wk - 7a- 7p
13 week contract
Job Type: Full-time, Contract
Job Summary:
Our hospital is seeking an experienced and compassionate RN to fill a full-time position in our Emergency Room. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a fast-paced, high-stress environment and be capable of managing a heavy patient load.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and triage patients based on the severity of their condition
- Administer medications and perform treatments as ordered by providers
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop patient care plans
- Monitor and document patient progress and communicate changes to providers
- Educate patients and families on their conditions and treatment plans
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff
- Attend all required training and continuing education sessions
- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a ER setting
- Ability to work under pressure and in fast-paced environments
- Strong critical thinking skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
