Evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements and documents nursing care. Assists physicians during examinations and procedures. Performs various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse. Promotes patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. What We Are Looking For
Lake Granbury Medical Center’s ICU Department is now hiring a full-time Registered Nurse RN to work on our 12 bed unit.

What You Will Do

Job Duties:

• Evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements and documents nursing care
• Assist physicians during examinations and procedures
• Performs various patient test and administers medications within the scope of practice
• Promotes patients’ independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate’s degree in Nursing
• Certified as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas
• 1 year of ICU experience
• BLS and ACLS upon hire
• NIHS certification upon hire

Preferred Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing

Working Hours:

• 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
• 6 weekend shifts in a 6 week timeframe is required
• Rotating holidays
