Job Title: ICU RN

Location: Rochester, NY

Salary: $95 Hourly - $3420/wk

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical ICU (RN) to join our team in providing exemplary care to critically ill patients. In this role, you will be responsible for attending to patients’ needs as well as monitoring their vital signs, administering medications, and collaborating with physicians and healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and chart patient’s vital signs and medical history.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Assess patients and communicate changes in status to healthcare professionals.
• Provide support and education to patients and their families.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Stay up-to-date on advances in medical techniques, procedures and treatments.
• Adhere to hospital policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• Active RN license in the state of New York.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field.
• Certification in critical care nursing preferred.
• Two or more years of experience in a critical care or ICU setting.
• Ability to function effectively in fast-paced and high-stress environments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility in scheduling, including weekends and holidays.
