Westmed, a Summit Health company, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Infusion team! The Infusion RN will be responsible for biological infusions and administering chemotherapy. The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing professional nursing care to patients and their families following the nursing process, established standards and practices. Assist physicians and other team members in coordinating patient care. Functions as a resource for support staff (LPNs and Medical Assistants).

Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities:

• Accessing the patient for bloods/chemo via peripheral lines
• Mix and administer chemotherapy
• Provide monitoring and continued assessment throughout the infusion period
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum education: Associate Degree; Bachelor’s Degree is preferred
• ​Current NYS licensure as a Registered Nurse
• Infusion experience required
• ONS Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certified
• Must be able to travel between sites
• Strong computer skills, EMR experience preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
• Completes competency skill checklist within first 3 months

Pay Range $39/hr to $47/hr

The provided compensation range is based on industry standards and salary determinations will be made based on numerous factors including but not limited to years of experience and location of position.
