Unit Highlights
- Ability to take up to 10 patients
- Average Nurse/Patient Ratio: This fluctuates throughout the shift depending on how many patients present to the ED
- Take adults, pediatric & adolescent patients; will maintain care until they are appropriately placed
- Straight shifts (either day shift or night shift positions) with three 12-hour shifts and every 3rd weekend schedule
- 2-RNs and 1-PC on average
- Experienced leadership; opportunity to be engaged with change management; culture of safety/just culture; supportive environment
Minimum Qualifications
- Education/Training: Valid RN license in the State of Maryland.
- Experience: 1 year RN experience. Inpatient psychiatric or psych crisis intervention RN experience strongly preferred
- License/Certification/Registration: CPR certification
