Position Summary:

The Registered Nurse RN works under direct supervision of the Director of Nursing using the state-specific Nurse Practice Act, Practice Guidelines, and nursing judgment.

Responsibilities & Duties of the Registered Nurse RN:

• Delivering quality nursing care to residents

• Ensuring patients medical needs are being addressed

• Collecting patient data and making observations

• Reporting pertinent information to the care of patients

• Ensuring patient receives appropriate care based on diagnosis and treatment plans

• Documenting and reporting observations of patient behavior, complaints, physical symptoms, or change in condition

• Direct and supervise other nursing staff members as needed

Qualifications of the Registered Nurse RN:

• Ideal candidate must be a caring and compassionate individual dedicated to providing high quality of care to residents

• Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as an RN in – OH

• Able to react to emergency situations appropriately when required

• Must be able to relate information concerning a resident’s condition
