We are excited to announce an opportunity for a positive and caring professional to join our team as a Registered Nurse at the Good Shepherd Hospice House!

We currently have an opening for a Part-time Day Shift RN. The team at the Good Shepherd provides quality hospice care to clients 24 hours a day to clients and families residing at our Good Shepherd Hospice House. This position is for one 12-hour shift per week.

The role of a Registered Nurse in hospice includes:

• Providing pain and symptom management
• Collaborating with physician’s and other interdisciplinary team members
• Developing individualized care plans to meet client needs
• Providing end-of-life guidance and support to clients and their loved ones

Qualifications:

• Excellent observation skills and nursing judgement
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong sense of compassion and empathy
• Understanding and acceptance of the hospice philosophy

Education Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN license in good standing.

Good Shepherd Homecare & Hospice seeks to pay salaries which are competitive with other like agencies. Previous experience is considered in determining a starting wage.
