Job Summary:
As a Registered Nurse RN OR Circulate/Scrub (Operating Room), you will be responsible for providing patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures. You will be responsible for coordinating with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the safety and comfort of patients during surgery.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Evaluate patient care needs before and after surgical procedures
- Assist surgeons during surgical procedures by passing instruments and supplies
- Monitor patient vital signs during surgery
- Ensure the sterile environment of the operating room is maintained
- Administer medications as ordered by the physician
- Document patient care in the medical record
- Communicate effectively with the healthcare team
Qualifications and Skills:
- Active RN License
- BLS and ACLS Certification
- Experience and certification in OR Circulate/Scrub
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Able to multitask and work under stressful conditions
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
