Job Description
This position exists to serve as the administrative and technical analyst for the college in the overall management of the college’s academic data including curriculum and programmatic compliance, catalog, and term schedules. Those duties include campus wide trainings, leading projects and participating in a variety of academic committees. This position ensures, provides and creates quality and accurate data for student services in daily and requested activity. Also, acts as the sole DARS encoder on campus, along with an expert in Registration, Program Navigator, Navigate, Transferology and catalog production/creation. This position also serves as query builder, data accuracy and integrity expert supporting all Student Services.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution
  • Knowledge of and experience with databases and query use/building
  • Strong technical detail skills
  • Proven experience solving and anticipating technological problems
  • Project management experience in higher education
  • Experience providing excellent customer service to students, staff, faculty and administration
  • Experience working with diverse populations

Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s degree
  • Experience with DARS, ISRS, Perceptive Content and back-end registration systems such as E-Services
  • Expert level Access, database or query experience
  • Experience with software such as Power BI, Curriculum management, ARSA, UAcheive Client etc.
  • Professional experience in Student or Academic Affairs
  • Experience leading, guiding or training users of technology
  • Knowledge of educational policies, which include but are not limited to; transfer, MinnState, Dept. of Higher Education, procedures, and best practices.
  • Experience auditing and following mandated guidelines
