Position: Rehab Aide (Temporary)
Department: Physical Therapy
Schedule: Full time days, outpatient
POSITION SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Rehabilitation Therapies Manager at the Main campus Outpatient location, the Physical Therapy Aide will receive work-site orientation and training in order to perform job duties outlined below. The aide will assist the therapist in preparations for providing care. Maintains clinical supplies, cleans equipment and tables, and ensures presence of clean linen in the treatment area and evaluation rooms. Assists in daily tasks of all clinicians and front desk operations to optimize the patient's experience.

- High School Diploma or GED
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED:

EXPERIENCE:
- Clinical/patient care work experience preferred.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- Effective communication skills (oral and written) to deal with patients, families, therapists and various members of the healthcare team.
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality of all personal/health sensitive information.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate in a courteous, pleasant and professional manner with patients, general public, staff members, outside agencies, and all other internal and external contacts.
- Organizational skills to set priorities and efficiently complete assigned work.
- Ability to work independently and to make decisions based on department polices and established procedures.
- Basic computer proficiency inclusive of ability to access, enter, and interpret computerized data/information.
