RELATIONSHIP MANAGER
We’re looking for an Associate Relationship Manager to join our Client Success team to identify, develop, and cultivate relationships across our existing client base. This role starts with a unique gravitas required to develop and manage relationships of all levels both internally and externally. Leveraging the strength of those relationships, the Relationship Manager will scope, plan and direct client engagements with the goal of client retention, user engagement, and revenue acceleration.
Our ideal candidate is committed to learning the alternative fixed income markets and comes to us with some prior experience in managing large financial institution relationships. The Relationship Manager will collaborate with all internal departments including Sales, Product, Engineering and Data Services so that they can put our client’s needs first. The Relationship Manager will be integral to client retention, driving client engagement and platform usage and finding growth opportunities within our clients. A successful Relationship Manager at T-REX is someone who exhibits a client first mentality.
What you’ll do:
- You’ll develop and manage strategic relationships.
- Build and maintain strategic working relationships with key stakeholders, and ensure strong partnership across our existing clients.
- Scope, document and maintain the “relationship grid.”
- Connect, direct and encourage relationships for other roles across the organization.
- Act as an internal and external advisor who creates relevance with our clients, anticipates needs and opportunities, makes connections, and finds creative ways to solve problems.
- You’ll drive usage and client engagement
- Identify various groups and users within client accounts that can benefit from the T-REX products and solutions.
- Understand market drivers and collaborate with both the client and internal stakeholders to overcome potential impediments to client engagement.
- Leverage network to identify meaningful prospective users within our existing client base.
- Retain existing clients and identify and refer potential growth opportunities at our existing clients.
- Manage client retention and reduce churn.
- Craft and close renewal commitments and direct contract negotiations.
- Maintain and update client details in our CRM.
Requirements:
This role may be right for you if:
- You have 2-5 years experience in Relationship Management, Business Development and / or Customer Support
- Familiarity with institutional finance workflows
- Experience in Structured Finance, Project Finance, or ABS markets is a plus
- Strong interest working with SaaS cloud based FinTech Platforms.
- Creative thinker with the ability to anticipate barriers to entry, paths to success, and connect the dots.
- You’re a team player with the ability to work independently and drive processes across the team (startup experience is a plus!)
- You have exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate complex topics to people with varying backgrounds

T-REX Hiring:
The salary range for this role in New York is $95K - $105K. Your final base salary will be determined based on several factors which may include but are not limited to location, work experience, skillset, education and/or certifications.
