The Site Resource Coordinator (SRC) oversees and ensures generation and administration of accounting codes, purchase orders, billing, project onboarding, and invoice workflows for A/R & A/P. This role provides critical support to ensure invoicing of approx. $5MM of department revenue can move forward. Role provides additional administrative support including timekeeping, and licensing / pre-qualification reviews.
Responsibilities
  • The Site Resource Coordinator (SRC) may support multiple workgroups, but will be assigned and report within the C&I Renewables Service Dept. , may prepare and update functional reports or records requiring compilation of information from multiple sources; may maintain plant records as required.
  • The SRC is responsible for Financial and Accounting responsibilities including: administrative support, creation and maintenance of job and project coding, invoice processing, warranty job code creation, and additional work within the JD Edwards (ERP system). Works closely with accounting and business services at month end to ensure timely accurate month end closings.
  • The SRC will work within the corporate accounts payable system (JDE) in processing invoices and related payments to a variety of vendors. Responsibilities include setting up new vendors to receive payment through our onboarding system, as well as verifying contractor meets safety requirements, and / or assisting in Avetta process.
  • The SRC will be responsible for document control & records retention through appropriate tools and resources including but not Limited to File Net, Sharepoint, and Share Drives.
  • The SRC will be responsible for other duties and projects as assigned from time to time by the manager including but not limited to assisting with the coordination of contract workforce, subcontractor management and critical administrative portions of project support
  • The SRC is responsible for timekeeping for legacy REC group.
  • Responsibilities include: licensing, all general service department incoming telephone calls and email.
  • Desired proficiency in computer applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook, Maximo, JDE, MyTime, as well as demonstrate ability to learn other applications. Uses software applications (e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Excel) to prepare correspondence, reports, presentations, agendas, minutes, etc. Receives, screens and directs incoming calls, visitors, mail and e-mail. Maintains files email groups, and calendars. Responsible for arranging business travel, coordinating meeting arrangements, and tracking expenses.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate within a diverse, cross functional environment including managers, co-workers, customers, corporate departments, contractors, local and state officials.
  • Must be able to see, hear, talk, and write to fulfill the requirement of daily interaction with this same cross-functional group. Must be able to operate a computer keyboard/calculator, duplication/fax machine; file and store records and documents. Must be able to read and comprehend, retain, and follow oral and written communications, exercise good judgment, and set priorities to carry out work assignments. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team. Must be able to develop a base of knowledge of corporate administrative functions; differentiate subtle differences among various documents.
  • Must work beyond normal working hours during peak periods, and routinely, as required for timesheet processing.
Basic/Required Qualifications
  • High School/GED
  • Valid Drivers License
Desired Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of experience
  • 5 or more years of role specific experience
  • High skill level with MS Office software is required, especially Excel
  • Experience with databases and electronic folders
  • Basic knowledge of Solar PV equipment and show an active interest in growing knowledge base in this industry
  • Experience working within cross-functional teams in a fast paced, dynamic environment
  • Ability to read and interpret constructions drawings and equipment manuals
  • Understanding of current labor laws and timekeeping requirements across all US timezones.
  • Strong organizational and customer service skills
  • Display good judgment and analytical skills
  • Ability to prioritize and complete a variety of simultaneous tasks
  • Must complete work with a high level of organization and accuracy
  • Ability to quickly adapt to change under pressure, while delivering quality results
  • Ability to communicate information effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Portray a positive attitude and demonstrate professional and collaborative team working skills
Working Conditions
  • Virtual - Work will be performed from a remote location after the onboarding period. However, virtual employees should live within a reasonable commute to a Duke Energy facility.
