Crownstone Equipment, founded in 2018, is the parent company for 6 Bobcat Dealerships: Bobcat of Adams County, Bobcat of Frederick, Bobcat of Hagerstown, Bobcat of Lancaster, Bobcat of Reading, and Bobcat of York. In addition to our compact equipment dealerships, Crownstone Outdoor Power, our Lawn & Garden Division, has two locations in Hanover, PA & Manassas, VA. As a Bobcat Dealer, we focus on selling, servicing, and renting both compact and lawn & garden equipment brands including Bobcat, Toro, Echo, STIHL, Fecon, and more.
This position is accountable for overseeing day-to-day rental operation.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities (includes but is not limited to the following):

- Refers all new accounts or potential new accounts with job locations to sales representatives
- Processes rental agreements, check-ins, checkouts, swaps, rental returns, and damages.
- Bills all rentals accurately and completely.
- Works with shop and yard personnel to prioritize equipment rental needs and required maintenance.
- Manages physical inventory process at the store.
- Make realistic commitments and communicate with customers and/or sales reps if deviations from the original commitment will occur.
- Prepares rental contracts and ensures all proper documentation and insurance coverage is obtained prior to renting the equipment.
- Work with rental & sales representatives and store manager as needed to fill rental orders and process sales and rentals.
- Remain knowledgeable and up to date on changes and developments of all equipment being rented.
- Ability to cross train to support Branch Parts Counter and Service duties as needed.
- Maintains a neat and orderly yard oriented toward maximizing efficiency.
- Assists in the loading/unloading of equipment for rental and sale.
- Maintains, organizes, and details heavy equipment, construction equipment and various pieces of machinery.
- Operates a standard forklift, handling cart and related equipment and tools to move materials.
- Operates pressure washer in all weather conditions.
- Performs visual inspections of rental equipment.
- Cleans lot and run off pit as well as empties trash.
- Conducts minor repairs and adjustments on equipment as needed.
- Occasional facility duties may include sweeping and property maintenance.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Daily opening the store for business prior to hours of operation M-F 7-5 and every other Saturday
Educational & Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- At least one (1) years of related service support experience.
- Valid drivers license
- DOT Medical Card preferred.
Essential Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to twenty-five (50) pounds and may infrequently lift and/or move up to fifty (100) pounds. Specific vision abilities required of this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and peripheral vision.
