JOB PURPOSE

This position will support the Senior Programmer with design, implementation and maintenance of reports and solutions developed at the request of the business. They will work with the Senior Programmer and IT Director to understand the requirements, develop specifications, test, and document the report or solution. They will participate in requirements gathering, system user documentation and training on occasion.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Requires lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling weight up to 75 pounds. Requires repetitive hand movement. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity. Requires corrected vision to normal range and ability to communicate effectively.

Work Location: Marana IT Office, computer room, various offices/departments throughout facility.

Potential Hazards: Exposure to VDT radiation, materials identified on Material Safety Data Sheets, working around moving machinery.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Specific Responsibilities:

• Code, test and troubleshoot programs
• Assist end users with the ERP, Document Management System etc.
• Maintain existing software programs, make approved changes when required
• Development of crystal reports
• Write ad-hoc data pulls
• Writes event manager scripts and assists with building forms.
• Develop Jasper Reports
• Develop custom programs with oversight from the Senior Programmer

MARGINAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Back up other team member functions
• Assist with help desk tickets
• Attends meetings as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the IT Director.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Crystal Report Development

Strong PL/SQL

IT Helpdesk Software

Education/Training: High School diploma or GED.

Experience: Previous coding experience within relational databases, preferably an Oracle environment. Minimum 1 year Crystal Report Development, 2 years PL.SQL experience

Other: May be required to work at Marana, AZ, Tucson, AZ and Roswell, NM locations as business needs dictate.
