Description of Job:

Quality Control: Inspect finished product, repair defects, read specifications, and measure thickness to ensure tolerance per customers. Removes rejects as needed. Ability to learn characteristics of the wood and record all defects. Contributes as a team member, usually works with a partner. Other duties as assigned, including duties in other departments.

Requirements:

· Read/interpret job order and customer specifications

· Operate a computer to pull up customer quality specifications

· Perform multiple visual checks of the product

· Identify defects

· High attention to detail and count

· Use hand tools: putty knife, iron, sander

· Read a tape measure and a caliper

· Must be able to identify species, cuts and matches

· Must be able to identify what color putty to use

· Frequent lifting, twisting and bending

· Frequent lifting up to 30 pounds, occasional lifting up to 50 pounds

· Stands throughout shift - 10 hours

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
