Salary Plan: Temporary

Hiring Salary/Salary Range: $18.00/hr

Hours: 20-30 hours per week

Schedule: Conduct during program hours (between 7:00 AM - 1:00 PM) at least three days a week during data collection periods. Must be able to attend all mandatory training in the month of May and in the summer (July, August). During non-data collection periods, there will be some flexibility in the schedule.

Role Summary: The Research Support Assistant/Data Collector will work with project staff to support research activities related to Pyramid Model implementation in early childhood programs. In addition to these research activities, the Research Support Assistant will help with evaluations tasks of the National Center for Pyramid Model Innovations.

DUTIES:

  • Collecting data in early childhood programs in the Tampa Bay area via observation, interview, and record review.
  • Assisting with data management and cleaning, data entry, data analysis, and quality control.
  • Creating and administering surveys in Qualtrics and/or REDCap.
  • Creating summary reports of quantitative and qualitative data.
  • Other research and evaluation tasks as needed.


QUALIFICATIONS (Education & Experience):

Minimum Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent and one year of experience. Higher education may substitute for the experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, ABA, Psychology, or related social science field.
  • One year of classroom experience or related childcare experience or research-related work.
  • Have reliable transportation to and from programs.
  • Experience with creating surveys using Survey Monkey, Qualtrics, REDCap, or similar software.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Prior experience in an educational and/or research environment.
  • Prior experience conducting observation and/or interviews.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office with intermediate to advanced fluency in Excel.
