This community features 133 Independent living, 106 assisted living and 44 memory care apartments. Two buildings, one six-story and one ten-story, make up this vibrant community and also encompasses an on-site Child Care Center. We are looking for a Resident Assistant/Home Health Aide whom would be responsible for providing personal cares and designated health related services to improve and/or maintain the residents’ physical and emotional well-being.

Ebenezer offers a robust compensation package for RAs with excellent benefits and hourly wages ranging from $20.90 - $26 / hour. Wage determinations will be based on related experience.

- Every other weekend rotation

Responsibilities/Job Description:
- Assists residents with personal cares including but not limited to: bathing, shaving, dressing, hair care, feeding, toileting, and transfers/lifts.
- Under direction of Nurse provides tasks such as; passing medication, glucose monitoring, temperatures, blood pressure, and pulse.
- Performs specified home services such as; laundry, cleaning, meal service, and assisting with activities.
- Observes residents and reports status to appropriate staff
- Assists with onboarding of new staff

Required Skills:
- If under 18, must be on the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry
- Ability to communicate optimally, with emotional intelligence and patience for residents and coworkers
- Able to work in a team setting and support others
- Work with a diverse and older population
Preferred Education/Experience/Skills:
- Previous work experience or formal training/education as HHA, CNA, NA, DSP, PCA or similar; preferred
- Work experience in a customer service setting; preferred
