RESIDENTIAL ELECTRIC SERVICE TECHNICIAN (Burlington & Camden County)

Family owned and operated, highly reputable electrical contractor, serving southern New Jersey (Burlington & Camden county) is looking for a knowledgeable electrician with at least 5+ years experience. Were looking for motivated team players who are looking for long term employment. This is a fast paced physically and mentally demanding field that takes being able to problem solve on the fly. Must be able to troubleshoot problems, discuss alternative options with customers and make necessary repairs or installation. This position is for well seasoned service technicians, we will train on our systems and procedures. Candidates for this position must have a good understanding of the NEC and UCC. This position requires a lot of customer interaction therefor candidate must have great communication skills and customer service oriented.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in the electrical field, with at least 2 years experience performing service work including experience with selling jobs.

Technical skills to diagnose and perform electrical repairs and installations, good written and verbal communication skills, including ability to communicate problems and solutions to customers. Likes technology and comfortable using electronics for scheduling, credit card processing, estimates and work orders. Capable of working independently as necessary with the ability to sell / close a job while onsite. Track record for dependability and strong work ethic are a must.

Our hiring policy includes background checks and a minimum of 3 references. Candidate must successfully complete our company electrical skills exam. All candidates must have a valid and clean NJ drivers license and must provide a drivers abstract from DMV. Candidate must own hand tools, battery tools, and a clean/professional appearance.
