Job Title: Respiratory Therapist

Location: Rochester, NY, USA

Blended rate: $2500/Wk

Stipend: $1281/wk

Shift Schedule: D/E/N Rotating - 3x12's

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Respiratory Therapist to join a fantastic healthcare team in Rochester, NY. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of $2500/wk

The Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for assessing patients' respiratory and breathing functions, recommending and administering appropriate treatments. The ideal candidate must be knowledgeable about pulmonary function tests, oxygen therapy, mechanical ventilation, and other respiratory therapy procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct clinical assessments to evaluate patients' respiratory and breathing functions

- Administer and maintain patients' respiratory therapy treatments

- Identify and treat respiratory disorders and diseases

- Educate patients and their families on the proper use of respiratory equipments and medications

- Maintain accurate records of respiratory therapy treatments and patient progress

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive treatment plans

Skills and Qualifications:

- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

- 2+ years experience in respiratory therapy

- Knowledge and experience of pulmonary function tests, oxygen therapy, mechanical ventilation, and other respiratory therapy procedures

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
