The Wissota Chophouse will be attached to the Cobblestone Hotel & Suites that is currently under construction near the Bridge View Center. Are you currently a shift lead or working in a casual dining restaurant? Do you have front of the house experience in bartending or serving? We are looking for someone with excellent customer service skills and we are willing to train the skill set needed for this position. The restaurant is open evenings only 4:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. This is the first of many Wissota Chophouses being built outside of Wisconsin. Come be a part of something new and exciting!
Seeking a General Manager with excellent leadership skills, including goal setting, motivating, training, and mentorship to both front-of-house and back-of-house team members. Demonstrates initiative and accountability to achieve success within the restaurant and strives to ensure longevity with the team members. Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, working in position when needed, and cultivating a positive work environment while striving to provide the best experience for our guests.
Essential Functions, but not limited to:
· Demonstrate professional communication skills.
· Evaluates food products to assure that quality standards are consistently attained.
· Evaluate products to assure that quality, price, and related goods are consistently met.
· Approves the requisition of products and other necessary food supplies
· Schedules and coordinates the work of cooks and other kitchen employees to assure that food preparation is economical and technically correct and within budgeted labor cost goals.
· Handle and resolve all guest and employee complaints.
· Inventory and order all supplies for use by staff to complete their jobs.
· Responsible for the selection, scheduling, supervision, discipline, and discharge of employees.
· Process and understand daily job duties with the understanding of balancing sales sheet, POS, and EOM (end of month) paperwork.
· Review and understand P & L.
· Maintain a regular cleaning and maintenance schedule for all front-of-house and back-of-house equipment
License or Certification Required:
Certified Food Operators License (preferred but not required)
