Brizo Restaurant/ Courtyard Residence Inn by Marriott – Marina del Rey, CA

Job Description

The positions will be responsible main dining seating 150 guest at Brizo , our coffee shop offering locally sourced pastries as well as over 100 guests seating at The Terrace Deck offering al fresco food and beverage options overseeing the Marina. The F & B team will be the driver for maximizing financial performance in all food & beverage outlets.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED; 2 years’ experience in culinary, food and beverage.

Food & Beverage Operations for Property

• Be part of amazing culinary team.

• All day-to-day F & B operations.

• Performs duties in team members absence or appropriate replacement to fill gaps.

• Follow performance standards and performance.

• Utilizes interpersonal and communication skills to lead, influence, and encourage others; advocates sound financial/business decision making; demonstrates honesty/integrity; leads by example.

• Encourages and builds mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members.

• Serving as a role model to demonstrate appropriate behaviors.

• Ensures property policies are followed fairly and consistently.

• Ensure that guest service, operational needs and financial objectives are met.

• Establishes and maintains open, collaborative relationships with employees and ensures employees do the same within the team.

Setting and Maintaining Goals for Culinary Function and Activities

• Follow and implemented guidelines and control procedures.

• Reach goals including performance goals, budget goals, team goals, etc.

• Follow safety procedures, detailed procedure codes, ensuring employee understanding of safety codes, monitoring processes and procedures related to safety.

• Knows and implements the brand's safety standards.

Additional Responsibilities

Be willing to work flexible schedule

Sever food according to SOP’s

Be able to carry lift up to 25 LBS and stand for more than 8 hour shifts.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
