SUMMARY: Assists food and beverage team in all activities of the Samoset Resort; private banquets, La Bella Vita, Enoteca, Splash Pool Bar and Clubhouse Grille by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Conducts monthly beverage inventories and purchases.

Confers with culinary team and catering to plan menus and coordinate work flow and directs activities within the kitchen, dining room, café and banquet operations.

Inspects food, food preparation and presentation to maintain quality standards and sanitation regulations.

Investigates and resolves food quality and service complaints.

Assists in weekly time edits to ensure compliance.

Carries out food and beverage manager responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing and training associates; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining associates; addressing complaints and resolving problems; and controlling costs and achieving standards.

Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour
