Overview
Looking for retail hardware sales associates who enjoy DIY projects and interacting with customers in our electrical, plumbing, outdoor living, lawn & garden, and paint departments. The ideal candidate is outgoing, friendly, and helpful. Learn important life skills such as product knowledge in hardware, paint, plumbing and electrical all while helping others.

Position Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Retail experience preferred.
• Ability to follow specific instructions and perform duties as assigned by your direct supervisor, business unit manager or MOD (Manager On Duty).
• Work independently, establishing priorities, managing workload and time wisely.
• Possess strong communication skills with associates and customers.
• Ability to work additional or flexible hours including weekends.
• Basic computer knowledge skills preferred.
• Able to communicate respectfully with coworkers and customers.

Essential Job Functions:

• Proactively assist customers in solving problems. Always greet and engage with customers in the store.
• Ensure all pages and calls are answered promptly, courteously, and effectively.
• Assist customers throughout the store with personal, customized service based on the premise of amazing every customer, every time.
• Participate in creating a positive, professional, and safe work environment.
• Help with unloading and stocking of merchandise throughout the store.
• Assist with down stocking and front/facing stock throughout the store.
• Ensure the store and retail areas are clean and always organized.
• Ensure signage is current throughout the store.
• Be professional in appearance and actions.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
