• Position Type: Full-time, Seasonal
• Season Dates: April 2023 - December 2023. Actual season will vary depending on the position and location.
• Location: You will be assigned to work at one of our six properties across Yellowstone National Park, including Gardiner, MT
• Schedule: 5 days a week, 2 consecutive days off. Hours may vary depending on business needs, staffing levels, and time of season. Time and a half is paid above 40 hours.

• Employees based inside Yellowstone National Park will have all meals provided at low cost including breakfast, lunch, and dinner ($170.81 + tax per two-week pay period).
• Employees based out of Gardiner will live in the bunkhouse with kitchenettes. Those employees will be responsible for buying their own groceries, cooking their own meals and suppling basic kitchen supplies.

Retail Sales Associate - $14.25/hour

• Provide excellent guest service by adhering to Xanterra's hospitality standards.
• Perform all cashiering duties while adhering to cash handling policies
• Stock product as necessary, making sure all displays are kept stocked, neat and clean within the guidelines of the Visual Merchandising Manual.

Retail Distribution Center Associate - $15/hour

• Assist with receiving and distribution of goods to and from the distribution center located in Gardiner, MT (right outside the Yellowstone gate), including the loading and unloading of shipments from different carriers.
• Accurately and efficiently receive, price, package and distribute merchandise received in the distribution center; keeping paperwork legible.
• Maintain a neat and orderly warehouse.

Retail Distribution Center Driver - $16.25/hour

• Must perform all duties for Retail Distribution Center Help located in Gardiner, MT.
• Load box trucks and unload/deliver inventory to assigned stores.
• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and pass a DOT physical.
• Comfortable driving for long periods of time through mountain roads throughout the entire park.
• Drivers can expect to drive early mornings through mid-afternoon 3-4 days a week and work in the Retail Distribution Center 1-2 days a week.

• Maintain fleet of rental bicycles including regular maintenance and repairs.
• Rent bikes to ensure proper size for guests and properly fitting equipment and keeping accurate records of rentals.
• Provide visitor information including National Park Service and Xanterra rules and regulations, availability of trails, and trail difficulty.
• Perform all retail duties, including stocking store, maintaining cleanliness of sales floor, and operating a cash register.

• Able to stand/walk for a minimum of 8 hours per shift.
• Carry boxes/product up and down stairs that could way up to 50 lbs, several times a day.
• Must be able to bend down, kneel, and occasionally use step ladders to stock product frequently during a shift.
• Retail Distribution Drivers must meet the following requirements:
  • Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and pass a DOT physical.
  • Able to lift boxes weighing up to 80lbs into and out of box trucks.
  • Comfortable with long periods of sitting in the truck or standing on hard concrete floors in the Distribution Center.
  • Must be able to climb in and out of the trucks.
  • Must be able to handle boxes up and down stairs as many of our store rooms are located in the basements of our buildings.
  • Driving in various weather and road conditions including rain, snow, ice, and wildlife encounters.
