Retail Sales Assistant Manager Job Summary

FLIP FLOP SHOPS is presently looking to fill a Retail Sales Assistant Manger position at our Key West location at 431 Front Street. Those interested should be responsible, dependable, energetic, friendly, customer service-oriented individuals, with good attitudes, who are able to work with others in a fun, but professional environment. Applicants must be able to engage in dialogue with customers, be willing to work flexible hours, and be honest, trustworthy, and hardworking individuals. Must have experience in retail sales and/or customer service. Full or Part time positions are available. Commission on individual's sales are added to hourly rate. Retail Sales Assistant Manager Duties and Responsibilities include:

· Communicate with the manager and owner all shop and staff needs. Guide all sales associates on proper work responsibilities as listed below

· When the manager cannot, insure cash deposits are accurate and bring to our local bank to be deposited at least twice per week as well as insuring rolled coins and small bills are available for the register

Perform All Sales Responsibilities:

· Prior to opening, prepare all displays/signage, and count and open the register

· Ensure daily that the shop opens on time

· Maintain the appearance of all displays, resize and restock product as necessary throughout the day

· Greet and assist customers in an engaging and professional manner, with a positive and friendly attitude

· Maintain current and thorough knowledge of all brands

· Know where brands are located in the shop

· Be able to differentiate between brands, helping customers compare and contrast differences.

· Answer all customer questions in a professional and informed manner

· Make helpful suggestions while assisting the customer in their decision to purchase

· Conduct yourself in a professional manner and make every effort to close the sale

· Handle all transactions with accuracy

· Ensure customers receive their receipts and items

· Make every effort to ensure the customer has an excellent shopping experience

· Make owner aware when product/particular sizes are getting low

· Close registers and check for accuracy at end of day

· Properly secure merchandise and follow closing procedures at the end of day

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
