We are seeking a Retail Sales Consultant 1 to become an integral part of our team in Connecticut!
This is an hourly position with no commission. You will be learning retail operations and assisting with scheduling of potential customers and business prospects. You will work closely with the outside sales team. You will be responsible for learning the full suite of AT&T consumer and business enterprise products, merchandise, and services in a professional business setting. Seven day a week availability is preferred with a flex schedule available.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome customers over the phone and in person with a positive first impression and smile
- Identify and uncover their needs using effective, empathetic questioning and sales techniques
- Explain and propose the full suite of AT&T products and services to benefit customers and business clients
- Enter and process customer orders and assist with inventory and general operations
- Investigate and resolve customer issues with the assistance of knowledge experts
- Complete all required ongoing AT&T Training
- Take initiative and be proactive in internal sales and outbound efforts and events in the community
Qualifications:
Previous sales experience in:
- Consumer sales
- Customer service
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Build strong rapport to establish long term relationships clients
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Proven record of reliability and attendance
- Personal and business references
- Positive, professional attitude and team player with leadership skills
- Analytical and problem solving skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
