Job Summary:
The Retail Wine Sales Representative is responsible for being a brand ambassador for the first-class wineries that Pine State has in its portfolio. He or she will achieve this through maximizing the product distribution and sales goals set forth by his or her territory district manager. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work independently, have a strong work ethic, and a passion and enthusiasm for the beverage industry as a whole.
Territory: Covering the Greater Manchester New Hampshire area (Manchester/ Goffstown/ Hooksett/ Manchester/ Derry/ Londonderry).
Position Responsibilities
- Plan, develop, and present to customers effective strategies to increase sales and promote new and innovative products.
- Review inventory at all accounts to verify facings and pricing accuracy.
- Become your accounts expert in the wine and beverage industry.
- Secure retail floor placements through innovative POS displays.
- Maximize and achieve sales goals set forth by the District Manager.
- Strong oral, written, interpersonal communication, and time management skills.
- Commitment to quality and willingness to work as part of a team.
- Valid New Hampshire driver’s license with access to a reliable vehicle.
- Professional appearance.
- Flexibility to work extended hours as needed including late nights and weekends.
- Physical ability to place inventory where applicable, lifting up to 25 lbs. consistently and up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
