Green River Adventures, located in Saluda, NC, is an outfitter specializing in whitewater kayaking, waterfall rappelling, and canyoneering adventures.

We hire enthusiastic, experienced outdoor professionals who love working with people and strive to provide unmatched outdoor experiences coupled with extraordinary customer service. We promote a fun, dynamic, team-based work environment in which we all work toward a common goal.

Our Whitewater Guides are responsible for guiding participants in Inflatable Kayaks down the Lower (Class I-II) and Upper (Class II-IV) sections of the Green River. Guides are expected to have prior paddling experience and be comfortable on Class IV Whitewater. Current CPR and First Aid certifications are required; WFR and Swift Water Rescue certifications are preferred. Pay is assessed per trip and increases with certifications.

Green River Adventures' 2023 Season opens on April 29th, 2023. We are eagerly accepting applications for this summer season. Trainings occur before the season starts and are ongoing.

Pay: $90.00 - $160.00 per day
