Part Time position scheduled hours per week on the 12’s nights with a weekend and holiday commitment on the Cardiac Medicine Progressive Care Unit.

Cardiac Medicine Progressive Care Unit

The 7 East provides services to older adolescent, adult, and older adult cardiac patients, acute and chronic Heart Failure patients, as well as medical-surgical patients who require cardiac monitoring. Patients on the unit require close and frequent assessment and skillful and timely clinical interventions to achieve their treatment goals.

7 East is a 32-bed unit. Patients and staff rooms are spacious and stocked with supplies required for patient care. All beds have cardiac monitoring capability.

REQUIRED EDUCATION / LICENSURE

Requires current Michigan Nursing License

Graduation from accredited nursing program

New hires must have a BSN degree or must agree in writing to obtain their BSN within five years

New graduate nurses, requires licensure examination scheduled within 45 days of hire
