About the Job:

The Cath Lab/IR Nurse conducts patient assessment duties such as monitoring vital signs, administering medications as instructed by the physician. Also keeps patient records, updates charts or for the medical procedures performed in the cardiac catheterization laboratory/Interventional Radiology. Also will help during lifesaving actions such as CPR and defibrillation. Monitors patient during Conscious Sedation per physician instructions. Administered medication during advance interventional cardiac/peripheral procedures such as STEMI, PCI, balloon angioplasty, stent placement and PICC Line insertion and Interventional Radiology.

Bravera Health Brooksville & Spring Hill are a 244-bed Health System Joint Commission, Accredited Chest Pain Center, and Primary Stroke Center.

Bravera Health Brooksville care services include a surgery program, a dedicated orthopedic joint replacement center and two cardiac catheterization labs. The joint replacement program offers robotic-arm assisted partial knee and total hip replacement surgeries. Bravera Health Brooksville is designated as an Accredited Chest Pain Center with PCI (Percutaneous Coronary Intervention)

Bravera Health Spring Hill features a Level II neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). Bravera Health Spring Hill also offers care for women during pregnancy and continuing through birth, postpartum care and beyond. Bravera Health Wound Care Center offers care for non-healing wounds and hyperbaric medicine programs that use technology to help heal wounds. Other care services include general surgery, ENT (ear, nose and throat), plastic surgery, urology and therapy rehab centers including outpatient physical, occupational and speech therapies.

Requirements:

• Florida RN license
• Current Stroke, BLS , ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
• Min. 1 yr of RN Cath Lab or I.R. experience "or" 2yrs of ICU / PCU experience, versed in ALL CC Drips.
• PICC line experience
• ASN
