Position Title: Road Construction Equipment Sales Representative

Location: Bensalem, PA

Pay: Base Salary plus Commission

Asphalt Care is looking for an experienced Outside Sales Representative who will be responsible for generating new revenue by servicing existing customers as well as identifying and winning new business in an assigned territory.

• You will be provided with a company vehicle and computer.

Reports to: Equipment Sales Manager

Subordinates: None

Qualifications:

• Sales experience (preferably in construction equipment sales or rentals)
• Willingness to prospect as well as manage existing customer base
• Organized, professional and motivated

Job Outline:

• Reports to the equipment sales manager and is responsible for the coverage, retention, development and customer satisfaction within a sales territroy. The position is responsible for the fullfilment of the following functions.
• Coverage of the specified customers in a manner defined by the company
• All customer call contacts are achieved weekly/monthly/yearly
• Call reports are completed as specified by company standards

• Maintenance of all required records regarding the customers’ sales territory
• Compliance in a timely manner with all company required information
• Development of sales forecasts and future equipment sales for each assigned customer
• Accurately enter equipment quotes and update pipeline
• Promote and sell all Asphalt Care Equipment Inc. divisions:
• Service and Parts Programs
• Rental and Lease offerings
• Tools and Supplies

• Participate in market and opinion surveys as directed by management.
• Customer Satisfaction after Equipment Sale, Rental or Service
• Competitor Sales programs
• Customers long term goals, future needs
• Other surveys as directed

• Perform the selling function regarding road construction equipment
• Attain short and long term objectives through good management and planning.
• Inconjunction with Sales Management and Marketing create sales aides and create sales programs that best appeal to the account base.

• Follow all policies and procedures as specified in the company handbook
• Maintain high employee morale and professional appearance
• Maintain excellent customer relations

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree and/or minimum 5 years of sales experience required.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
• Excellent relationship-building skills a must.
• Thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Proven track record of overachieving quota.
• Strong command of different sales techniques and pipeline management.
• Self-starter with strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Time Management, able to plan and schedule meetings.
• Good working knowledge of equipment operations.

In addition to our New Construction Equipment lines we offer Used Equipment, Equipment Rentals and Parts Department. Our Service Department is staffed by Factory Trained Technicians and has Road Service for field repairs. Our 10,000 sqft Retail Store offers smaller hand tools, supplies and parts for all of your Paving, Excavation and Pavement Maintainence Needs.

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
