Job Role Summary
Essential Duties
Responsibility 1: 20%
- Prepare bait and other extermination device.
Responsibility 2: 40%
- Place bait in rat infested homes, buildings, alleys, lots, etc.
Responsibility 3: 20%
- Enter data associated with abatement activities into Accela software
Responsibility 4: 10%
- Examine baited areas in a frequent basis to monitor extermination process
Responsibility 5: 5%
- Provide residents with information on the extermination and rodent control process
Responsibility 6: 5%
- Clean and maintain vehicles and rodent equipment
Responsibility 7:
- Participate in public health emergency preparedness exercises and in the response to public health emergencies, as directed
- Participate in a minimum of two HOPE events totaling a minimum of eight (8) hours annually
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- No special education/training required
- Valid Indiana driver's license
