Roofing Production Manager

POSITION SUMMARY

The Roofing Production Manager position is responsible for ensuring a coordinated roofing production schedule is in place for all jobs from start to finish. They regularly interact with all areas of the business and serve as the customer’s main point of contact for all project timelines. Additionally, they oversee material and labor to ensure efficiency within all production. They also will supervise and mentor project managers.

ESSENTIAL Responsibilities

• Create production schedules for all jobs and ensure that all project managers, material and labor are in unison.
• Maintain and adhere to scheduled and preventive maintenance for all equipment.
• Discuss budget expectations and project timelines with customers.
• Coordinate with vendors to order material for all jobs.
• Train and mentor project managers on project management and customer service skills
• Ensure that all data is properly tracked in CRM system
• Troubleshoot project issues and provide corrective action as needed
• Coordinate with both inhouse labor and subcontractors

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial roofing experience
• Prior experience managing multiple jobs simultaneously across multiple states and locations

Mandatory Qualifications

• Prior experience in related industry with job functions in project management or production management
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Excellent customer service skills
