The beautiful and vibrant Embassy Suites by Hilton Boca Raton is conveniently located thirty-five minutes north of Fort Lauderdale\Hollywood International Airport. This beautiful newly renovated property has been redesigned with the family and corporate traveler in mind. Close to warm, sunny Florida beaches, family attractions, universities, shopping and many Fortune 500 companies of Boca Raton. Our Boca Raton hotel is conveniently located in Palm Beach County at the border of Broward County.
The Embassy Suites by Hilton Boca Raton is seeking highly qualified and self-motivated full-time Room Attendant. The Room Attendant is responsible for cleaning rooms/suites and public in order to create a memorable experience for our guests.
Experience: One year in Housekeeping hotel experience or similar experience.
Job Essentials:
- Provide a clean, safe and well-maintained guest room for all guests of the hotel.
- Thoroughly clean guest rooms as assigned, including, but not limited to making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting and vacuuming to Doubletree brand standards
- Dispose of trash and recyclables
- Perform deep cleaning tasks, as needed
- Gather supplies/equipment/amenities as needed daily
- Respond to guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner. Get assistance to help guests when needed.
- Follow proper Hotel safety policies and procedures and use safety equipment as needed to ensure the safety of all team members during each shift. Reports all accidents and injuries in a timely manner.
- Perform any other job related duties as assigned.
- Documents and communicates maintenance requests to the Engineering Department to ensure that the Hotels Quality Service Levels are being.
- Follow proper Hotel safety policies and procedures and use safety equipment as needed to ensure the safety of all team members during each shift. Reports all accidents and injuries in a timely manner.
- Provides for a safe work environment by following all safety and security procedures and rules.
- Ability to work in a fast-pace, high-energy and demanding work environment.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates and guests.
- Able to understand and follow all safety related procedures while performing all tasks.
- Ability to communicate and understand the English language in order to communicate with co-workers and guests.
- Ability to work with chemical cleaners and disinfectants.
- Able to communicate via radio and phone as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets – add to all.
- Regular attendance in conformance with the standards is essential to the successful performance of this position.
- Able to work varied shifts, including Weekday, Evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes wearing the proper uniform and nametag.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this position, the job regularly requires standing and walking for an entire shift and perform repetitive motions, bending, stretching, reaching, stooping and pushing up to 20-30 pounds.
Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules (including Holidays and weekends) to reflect the business needs of the hotel. In addition, attendance at all scheduled training sessions and meetings is required.
