Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Tom Welke. I am Partner & VP at RSM Solutions Inc. About 99% of my time is spent customer-facing. That being said, their are no layers between myself and and end client. I will be more interested in 'fit' than anything else...a 'fit' for you, and a 'fit' for the client.

I know this hiring manager very very well...we have been actually close personal friends for many years.

This is the kind of environment where there is limited drama and limited micro- management. The individuals you will be reporting to are individuals that would not put you into situations where their is no support or your are ‘on an island’. However, their is an expectation that you know what you are doing as well.

Here is the Job Description...if you don't bring everything to the table listed here, that's ok...just let me know what you do bring to the table. This client is ideally looking for someone to help them for about 20 hours a month or so. This can be done remotely. Ideally, we are seeking someone that could come onsite, at least in the beginning to get to know the team a little better. If you are located in Kent or Akron, Ohio, that would even be better. This client is actually located in Rootstown, Ohio.

They are running Ross ERP version 6.4 on Windows 2003 servers. We are seeking someone that can do some administration and support of Ross for the next couple years until they retire it and move to Plex for ERP. They already have a DBA to assist with DBA issues...so what we need here is some Systems Administration support. So, if you know fun stuff like setup tables, extracts for tables, working with audits, and so on, we should be off to a good start. One of their bigger areas of concern is the need for assistance with month and year end audits. There are a total of 130 users currently of this ERP system.

All that being said, here are the gotta haves:

• Experience with Ross ERP (especially version 6.4) from an administration andsupport perspective
• Experience with monthly and year end data processing in Ross.
• Experience – from an administration point of view – with setup tables, dataextracts from those tables, and audits.
