Job description

This is a first shift position. Days of operation are Monday through Friday with an occasional Saturday/Holiday required.

Must live within 25 miles of Swedesboro, NJ

The Route Delivery Driver is responsible for driving a van/truck to deliver products to customers safely, timely and professionally. Driver is also responsible for merchandising product neatly in coolers and freezers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Load van/truck with product and equipment.
• Drive van/truck and deliver products to customers.
• Stock coolers and freezers in an orderly manner. Follow product planogram as needed.
• Interact professionally with customers.
• Adhere to all professional appearance requirements (uniform, footwear, etc.).
• Monitor foreign product, the general appearance, and the cleanliness of cooler and freezer

· equipment.

• Check vehicle for safety/maintenance issues prior to leaving the warehouse and throughout the

· day.

• Unload any returns and document proper information on each return.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Driving experience required.
• Merchandising experience preferred.

Skills/Qualifications:

• Ability to drive an enclosed van or 16-foot box truck.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must have a clean driving record.
• Ability to professionally communicate with customers.
• Physical Demands:
• Ability to stand and sit for extended periods of time.
• Ability to reach above head.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
• Ability to push/pull up to 300 pounds.
• Ability to operate a manual pallet jack and/or hand truck

Job Type: Full-time
