Safety Manager, Program Safety Manager,

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Works in direct coordination with: Plant Managers; Refrigeration Process Safety Manager (who is responsible for ammonia systems); Manager of Environmental and Sustainability; Human Resources Representatives; Employee Relations Manager; Regional Safety Manager for the Company’s MD, DE, and NJ facilities; and the various Facility Managers and Supervisors.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• 5 years Safety Management experience in Industrial/Manufacturing setting
• Bachelor’s Degree in Safety
• ASP/CSP Certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of date of hire
• OSHA HAZWOPER Certified
• Excellent computer skills, proficient in Word, Excel, and Microsoft Office

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• 10 years Safety Management experience in Industrial/Food Manufacturing setting
• Masters’ Degree in Safety
• ASP/CSP Certification
• Certified Electrician
• Experienced in ARC Flash Analysis protocols and concepts
• Working knowledge of Department of Transportation Regulations
