Job description

Description: The Salad Cook prepares the salads, the salad bar & desserts for patients, staff and visitors. The Salad Cook is included in clean up and has responsibility for washing dishes, operating the dish machine, and doing assigned cleaning also. He/she puts away dishes, stocks items, and helps run the POS system in the cafeteria. Will also work as a Cook Asist, working with the Cook to set up and deliver meal trays for patients. He/she delivers patient trays and is involved in clean up.

Number of Hours: Full-time: 32-40 hours/week

Schedule: 6:00am – 2:00pm during weekdays; every other Saturday & Sunday 6:00am – 11:00am. Will be trained to work other shifts as well.

Educational Requirements: High school diploma desired. He/she must take a modified diet and sanitation course provided through the dietary department.

Other: The applicant must have good customer service skills, be willing to fill in as needed and be a team player. He/she must be well organized and able to follow directions. Cooking experience a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.94 - $19.63 per hour
