Sales Account Representative
Balfour Scholastic is expanding our salesforce nationwide, and we are looking for motivated Sales Account Representatives to join our team. Seize this opportunity to combine your sales skills with a desire to work in the education market in an established territory with tons of growth potential!

Our customers are High School administration teams and the graduates and families they serve. As a Sales Account Representative, your workday would consist of visiting schools and working with graduation advisers and students in a specific geographic territory. We focus on bringing top quality products and excellent service to our customers.
Expectations of the role:
· Customer satisfaction and retention of school accounts
· Prospecting and growing market share in your territory
· Daily travel to schools, both customers and prospects
· Acquiring technical skills and gaining program/product knowledge
· Representing Balfour, executing sales presentations, and driving consumer engagement
· Managing existing accounts at various stages of production consistent with the deadline schedule
· Discover customer needs for scholastic products and opportunities for additional account servicing
What we are looking for:
As a Sales Account Representative, you must combine a competitive spirit with a positive and influential personality and enjoy working in all types of schools, both public and private, primarily engaging with high school administrations and high school juniors and seniors. Strong candidates should demonstrate an entrepreneurial approach to this sales opportunity. You must be highly organized and detail-oriented with unique problem-solving skills and acute sales acumen. In addition, you must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to quickly establish rapport and credibility with a wide range of potential customers.
Specific qualifications for the role include:
· Bachelor’s degree preferred
· Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills
· Ability to sell to new and prospective customers
· Excellent computer literacy skills, specifically in Microsoft suite
· Willingness to travel and work independently; a self-starter
· Training, teaching, or coaching experience preferred
· Prior sales and service experience a plus

· Salary, incentives, expenses
