Sales and Business Development Associate, Houston, TX
House Ninja's mission is to take the hassle out of home maintenance by becoming a one-stop-shop for everything homeowners need done in and around their home.
We’re looking for a results-driven Sales and Business Development Associate to support House Ninja's growth in the Houston, TX market. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining the B2B2C sales pipeline, with a focus on generating and converting qualified prospects using cold email, cold calling, social selling, and networking. You will be responsible for key growth KPIs, driving performance initiatives, and developing and executing sales playbooks.
We’re looking for someone who is self-motivated, can execute and coordinate cross functional partners, and has exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills. You will be experienced in managing and maintaining a high-performing sales pipeline and delivering consistently excellent results. You’ll be a creative thinker with an innovative mindset and passion for solving problems who is excited about joining a growing startup that is looking to disrupt a major industry.
Responsibilities will include:
- Prospecting. Identify sales opportunities through direct prospecting, inbound lead follow-up, networking, events, and partner relationships.
- Conversion. Convert prospects into partners and secure customers through a variety of sales channels.
- Pipeline Management. Utilize CRM and supporting tools to track your leads and manage your pipeline from prospecting activities to meetings, and anticipated conversion opportunities.
- Sales Reporting & Analysis. Accurately report and track sales activities and KPIs within CRM, Excel, and other supporting technologies.
- Business Development. Build and maintain client and strategic partner relationships to exceed goals. Analyze the territory/market's potential and identify and establish best practices and promotional trends.
- Process Improvement. Help to grow the sales team and build a scalable, repeatable process.
- Execution. Meet deadlines, consistently hit targets, and exceed expectations.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3+ years sales experience.
- Team player with a positive, collaborative attitude and dedication to professional development.
- Exceptionally motivated with a proven track record in sales.
- Ability to cultivate fruitful professional relationships.
- Excellent sales and communication skills.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, & Google Suite, and CRM software.
- Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to customer or channel partner needs.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $74,000.00 per year
