Midwest Laminating & Coatings, Inc., a value-added specialty converter of foils, metalized films, and holographic films laminated to papers and paperboards since 1985, is seeking a highly motivated sales and marketing manager to increase business with our current accounts and expand our customer base with new business.

The candidate will be responsible for sales of our specialty papers and paperboards throughout the United States to commercial printers, packaging companies, display companies, label printers, and paper distributors. Travel is required about 20% of the time.

Qualifications:

*A proven track record of prospecting, cold calling, networking, and booking appointments.
*Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interface with customers and our internal personnel.
*Product expertise - the ability to learn quickly and apply what has been learned.
*Experience selling to all levels of organizations, including sales people, purchasing agents, and management.
*Must have strong customer relationship development skills.
*Must have a valid drivers license and valid automobile insurance.
*Previous experience selling to the printing trade is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities:

*Develop and maintain opportunity pipeline that drives sales activities, ensuring that revenue goals are exceeded.

*Develop marketing programs including ad strategies, email blasts, etc.

*Identify, qualify, and close sales opportunities.

*Generate leads and prospecting.

*Implement and follow successful sales processes.

*A sense of urgency with a hunter mentality.

*New account and market growth.

*Existing account development and growth.
