Purpose of Position:
Support staff and functions of the Sales Manager and Sales Team with sales administration, order entry, customer and product input integration, and other miscellaneous duties as needed from time to time. Works with internal and external contacts, including foreign team members, manufacturing personnel, and customer contacts. Take over administrative tasks of tracking multiple projects in varying states of completion. The right candidate must be well organized and detail-focused, task/goal-oriented, and excited to be part of an emerging company from near ground level. Systems supported by a full platform of Microsoft Office products including Business Central and Dynamics 365.
Essential Functions:
Overall responsibility for the smooth tracking and flow of multiple ongoing projects in various states of completion. This position will serve to support the efforts of the Sales department. Coordination of resources with department heads to ensure total project scope and established product roadmap are achieved with the interaction between company team, factories, and available resources. Complete openness with ownership combined with honesty and integrity is a must.
Objectives of this Role:
- Manual system entry of Customer sales orders
- Daily focus on logistics of multiple product entry systems
- Closely monitor product setup progress and report progress to Management Team
- Resource coordination between team, customers, and systems
- Direct needed corrective action required for project on-time completion
- Support the Sales Team as needed for various administrative tasks and duties
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:
- Manage daily activities of assigned projects through their completion
- Provide weekly & monthly project status reports
- Utilize provided resources for project completion success
- Analysis and preparedness to make recommendations for resources needed for projects
- Internal communication with department heads regarding any identified project hurdles
- Daily communication (including video calls) with team counterparts and manufacturing contacts in Asia
- Other responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time in a fast-growing new company
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- EDUCATION – HS Diploma. An additional college education is preferred
- YEARS OF EXPERIENCE – 2-4 Years
- LANGUAGE – English. Additional spoken and written language understanding is a plus.
PREFERRED SKILLS
Business professionalism with a track record of monitoring multiple projects and attention to detail in a growing team environment. Independent working, multi-tasking, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities are keys. Strong Microsoft Office skills. Microsoft Business Central Experience preferred. Bi-lingual communication skills are preferred.
