Counselman Automotive Recycling is a premier auto parts supplier. We have been providing quality parts for mechanics, body shops, and auto dealers since 1966. With 5 locations, and more than 20 delivery trucks across Alabama and Florida, we can provide overnight delivery on most orders. Our delivery area covers the entire state of Alabama, and New Orleans, LA to Tallahassee, FL along the Gulf Coast.

Counselman Automotive Recycling is seeking their newest salesperson to help serve our customers better. A salesperson solicits business, develops and maintains relationships, and trouble-shoots problems with key, target, and potential customer accounts. He or she makes regular sales calls and supports the overall success of store operations and profitability.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Provide exceptional customer service including assisting in determining customer needs, offering options to solve customer problems, and diffusing situations involving upset or dissatisfied customers.
  • Research availability of merchandise through computer and catalogs for stock numbers, inventory status, and pricing.
  • Have a working knowledge of IMS such as Powerlink, Pinnacle, Checkmate.
  • Have general knowledge of tools such as EZ-Suite, URG Warranty, Parts Trader, OPS Trax, CCC Order Manager, and others.
  • Other functions as needed or requested.

Mathematical Skills

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic computer knowledge and familiarity with basic spreadsheets, word style documents, Mac and Windows Operating systems.
