Stevens Marine (Portland OR) is a local family-owned business that has been serving the Pacific Northwest since 1971. We sell the top brands for NW boaters! Brands like Mercury outboards, Smokercraft, Alumaweld, Starweld, Sunchaser, Starcraft and Kingfisher!

Currently, we are looking to add to our sales team. This will be an entry position with the opportunity to grow your income into 6 figures! You will be working 40+ hours a week with 2 days off. We provide benefits like medical, dental, optical, retirement plus paid time off. If your passion is fishing and boating then you won’t be alone! Responsibilities for Sales

• Maintain customer satisfaction through superior service
• Maintain a clean work area
• Keep an organized work area as well as sales files
• Stay up to date with features, options and new products
• Determine customers’ needs/ wants and suggest products
• Adhere to company guidelines and procedures
• Welcome and engage in conversation with customers, help them as needed

Sales Associate

• Experience in sales is preferred
• Great communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be attentive to customers’ needs and determined to provide customer satisfaction
• Ability to organize, prioritize, multitask, be flexible and meet deadlines
• Knowledge of sales standards and customer service routines
• Must have proficient math skills to handle cash and credit card payments
• Basic computer skills including spreadsheets, data programs and PowerPoint
• Work well with others and be a team player
• Ability to manage schedules and inventory

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
